 Mrs. Kim Mather, M.A. is currently working as a testing technician at
Karen Gieseke, Ph.D. and Associates. Kim has 30 years of educational
experience with undergraduate and graduate degrees in Special Education
(Hope College, Michigan), Elementary Education (Hope College and
University of Rhode Island) and a graduate certificate in Educational
Administration (Boston University). She is a recently-retired school
principal. Throughout her three decades in education she has
developed expertise in teaching and learning (Reading, Writing, and
Mathematics in particular). Additionally, Kim has expertise in behavior
plans and special education plans and assessments. She is well-versed
in formative, summative and state-wide educational testing that is used
throughout Rhode Island’s schools. Kim is able to provide a wide
variety of expertise in testing and educational consultation. Kim and
her husband have raised 5 children and are now enjoying their successes
in college, graduate school and/or careers.
